Here are my finds from yesterday that i would like you all to veiw. I been getting really LUCKY to in my finds from the 5 banks i get pennies from.

Is that uncommon? The plating missing? I've found several coins like that but threw them back in the mix. Thanks for posting these!

Lots of your finds are from the 80s. There are some great varieties in that date range.

I found one like these today. When I rubbed really hard, it looked like the copper was coming through more. I threw it back.

How do you tell if it is a plate error and not acid?

When you know a plate error is that it is really smooth. Acid will have a bubbly effect to it and is usally all over the planchet.

Acid USALLY have lot of pimples on the coin so to speak, that is how you could tell if it was done after the mint.
