Some sort of doubling. Almost everything on the reverse has doubling. Nothing on the front has signs of doubling. What do you guys think? :D
thanks!

I think that MDs should be listed in a category all there own... MDs are still a mint error/variety even though the cause is machine related... There are some really serious MDs out there... No one ever thought that trails would make a category!!!

I agree with MD should have it's own category. It is a error. Some people hate the site of MD but I don't.I have some really nice ones and welcome them in my collections.

While machine doubling has been lifted from the ranks of being damaged goods (not long ago it was universally called Machine Doubling Damage), it would be extremely hard to categorize the affect into a viable filing system.
The main reason why is that this is a random occurrence, dependent on many variable conditions. So, even though some machine doubling may look alike, each one is unique unto the other.
A striking error "yes" it is and probably the most common of all; build a filing system to group identical machine doubling examples, "no" it would be an almost impossible task.
