Extra bow tie

Just found this 1956 with an extra large bow-tie. Is this a large die chip or a small break?

The 56P's I have from a roll show a rounded off tie, so that must be a die break, die chip, or large die gouge. It's a nice find.

It is indeed a die chip. I have seen a few of these from the 50s.
