Found this the other day... Trails are extremely difficult to get pics of... I did the best I could and hope that you can see them... They look to be between 50 and 55 degrees... EPU has them off the top of all the letters and the 2nd "S" of STATES is from the lower serif!!!

Excellent trails, Jim. From the looks of it, pretty strong in most places.
Nice find.

Nice find, and good job on the pictures!
That looks a little bit like 1996D-1DER-015T on traildies.com. However, with that said, I cannot determine if the angle of the trails on your coin are the same. Check out the markers and see if you can figure out if it might be a new die.

A key die marker to 1DER-015 is a die goudge above the F of oF. Does the coin show this? I think I see it here:

You all are getting good at this. The big key in matching up trail dies when they are on the EPU is taking the lines from the top of the letters in UNUM and see where the attach to the letters in E . PLURIBUS. While it is not fool prof, it does help a lot.

It is not listed at traildies... Folowwing BJ's directions the trail on the 1st "U" of UNUM runs from its NW point to the SE point of "P" and the die marker is not there... If I had been able to get a good straight on pic everyone would have been able to see it better... Jason has no competition from me... LOL... Thanks Jason... Also this is my 2nd trail not my 1st... I posted a 2006P 2 weeks ago of which I updated with more pics of the REV... It does not appear to match any at yraildies either... But then again I'm no pro... LOL!!!

Jim - If you want me to take a look at your trail die, send it on down to anyone of the three of us.
