It wouldn't have to be time travel if the guy believed it was the wheat cent that made it's way inside the Mint's coining floor during the Memorial reverse era. But yah, I normally say this is a coin that, if an error, translated itself through rays faster than the speed of light.
But then, it's not an error, but rather a manufactured oddity.
