Found this over the weekend. Nothing spectacular I guess, just thought I'd share. Too bad it's not in better shape.

It appears to be a grease filled Die.

Alot of those I find tend to be thicker than other cents. Same weight though. Is this the case with you?

Yes it does seem a little thicker.

That always made me think it was a pressure issue for some reason. I'll have to see if I can find anything on it.

Grease filled die i have several of those i found from looking.
