I posted this in CoinTalk too....but

ok, so my dad came to visit and at my request he brought this huge jar of pennies he's had forever. (I have A LOT of free timehttp://www.cointalk.org/images/smilies/2.gif) I took him to the NASCAR race last month so he was more than wiling....So I sat down expecting to search through God knows how many coins pessimistic about what or what NOT I would find. In the next to last scoop of coins (I'm not kidding) I saw this and lost my mind.....http://www.cointalk.org/images/smilies/18.gif So thanks dad. You are the best! (You were anyway)http://www.cointalk.org/images/smilies/7.gif

I'd nominate it LCR Forum "Find of The Year"

I'll second that nomination. Not as trendy as some, but probably tougher to find. A real classic find.

Great Find... I have one word of caution though... Does that coin have the V.D.B. in the base of the bust? If it does it's a 1944 with the 4 removed.... all wheats pre 1918 do not have the VDB on the bust!!!

That is the first thing I looked at :nerd:......it has a plain bust/shoulder. No VDB.:eclipsee_gold_cup:
