1940 S Wrpm 11

Can someone check there files and pictures on this one. It appears that the MM is in the correct position, also it appear's to be a S pertruding South and West of the primary MM.

Hey Dave,
The mintmark position looks close... Use a toothpick and clean the area's around the mintmark. The toothpick, "wood" will not scratch the coin and you'll be able to see if the remnants still remain, Oh wipe with a no allow piece of cheap toilet paper to get the rest of that carbon/grease off the coin.. Don't rub hard....

Also... Try to see those verticle die scratches PUPs just East of the 9 of the date. Though it if a Circ , your pic looks as though it may have picked them up.

I put the water treatment to it. I do se a line running S/E if that is the PUP your referring to.
