Hello members of LRC, my name is Dave and I'm an avid coin collector/dealer with a personal passion for Lincoln cents. I have been collecting coins since I was 6 yrs old, with breaks here and there, and over the last 8 yrs I have become quite serious about the hobby/profession. I buy and sell a great deal of rare silver coins, but my one true love are Lincoln cents and they're the only coin type I actually collect. There's just something sublime and beautiful about this series and I'm constantly upgrading my 2 Dansko albums. I have no problem cracking out high grade coins to place in my album, slabbed Lincolns seem lonely and are much more at home in a coin album, IMO. My Lincoln cent collection is a work in progress and not one I'll ever finish. There will always be a better cent out there just waiting to join my crew! LOL!!

Hi Dave and welcome. Judging from your "handle" you might enjoy tequila (or maybe your'e just a JB fan?) Anyway, have you tried a Rosita on a hot day? Look forward to your posts. George

Yes, I do enjoy tequila. I belong to a group that travels to Jalisco every year to tour various distilleries. Every time we go down there we're treated like kings and every day is like going to a wedding. I've had the honor of sipping some of the best tequila in the world, often times from owners own personal stash. It's amazing the wide range of flavors you can achieve all from the same agave plant! I can't imagine if there were only one wine grape you could produce the variety of flavors that you can with only one specie of agave.

Sounds like a tour I'd like to join.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Although I have a strong passion for Lincoln cents, I'm still on the steep end of the learning curve, so I've a lot to learn and looking forward to a long and prosperous time here on the LCR!
