I would have to say MDD. Looks cool though.

I was under the impression MDD left a flat like shelf.. Not a raised double

It's very hard to tell from the photos. I could be wrong. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Machine doubling. Besides, the mint does not punch mintmarks into working dies anymore. The mintmarks are now on the master dies for that year. From what I understand, all current mintmarks should look exactly the same and can be found in the exact same location.
