I see these on Teletrade all the time. For some reason 1970 S tones like that. I'm sure there are some on Teletrade right now. I think they are really cool. I love rainbow toning.

I've watched them on TT for a while now too- I think a single consignor had a roll or two that were kept in paper wrappers. Definitely gorgeous!
Target toning is great. Check out my SMS Kennedy:

I LOVE IT BRAD!!!
I have one that looks like someone spray painted it yellow. Would you say it's a token?

Gorgeous coin- there's a section of collectors who will pay strong premiums for very attractive toned coins. I'm finishing my MS wheat set only to decide that it'll be a lot more fun (and hard) to do another set of wildly toned coins. More holes to fill.

Sounds like it is gold plated.
I don't have to any rainbow toned Lincolns, but I do dream of putting together a set of colorful matte proofs. I do have some toned uncirculated Lincolns: a purple toned 1925, a blue toned 1920 and green toned 1918. If I had more $ I would buy this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200580294380&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT).
