1988P I need some help

Having trouble ID-ing this 88 I found. I'm guessing it's VLDS, heavy die scratches and seperation lines are gone or almost gone. The 9 looks more like 1DO-002 but I don't know. Any help appreciated. I can post more pics if needed.

I can't help but I also have a few 1988 that look the same as your. so I will watch and see what the experts here say!

I can't be sure, but I don't believe this is a 1988 DDO. I know the date looks like it might be, but the amount of die polishing has degraded the edges of the devices so much that accurate attribution is almost impossible.
