I have had this one for most of my collecting life. I got at Albany Coin in upstate NY when I was a boy. the owner Roy Green told me that he thought it was a satin finish that was spend or somehow got into circulation.

But what made me pick it up was how the date was so out of line. the 1 looks out of place. like someone add it to die by hand. or the bottom of the 1 was filled in.
a friend at our coin club said he thought it was a double die. the the bottom serif of the 3 + 6 have the look of a double die ?????

what do you think?
