I talked with BJ this afternoon about his auctions. He is as surprised as anyone that this brought that much. Congrats BJ. The other one didn't do too bad either.!

I was totally surprised also as I was on the Sniping program and when it hit my max I knew someone wanted it worse than me. Bidders got into a little bidding war on the one.

I am glad to see BJ/Jean did well as the money goes for a good cause.:)

That went way over what I wanted to spend, Im wondering if some of the bidders think there getting a coin that looks like the overlay?

That's what I was wondering. I would have made it more clear that the first picture was an overlay.

I was more than surprised at the two prices that these coins brought, but then again, we saw this happen in the 2009P(FY) doubled die craze as well.

If the only picture had been an overlay, I could see your point. However, there were four other picture, plus reference to the site page with all the information concerning both of these clash events. I am sure that the persons bidding on these coins were fully aware of what they were bidding on.
