I wasn't even looking for this variety. I didn't realize how good of a spread is on this one till now.

I have only seen one other coin and none for sale on the auction site. That one would be easy to miss with really just the separation line on the 9 and thick digits. Again nice find. Joe

What kind of magnifying device to you have ?
I need to get a better onr than the little hand held I got.

I use a cheap stereoscope i got off of ebay for $125. My dad got it for me for Christmas. I just put the lense up to it.
Nice find I have been looking at the wrong side of these puppies. I guess I need to look at both.

Hey Shing,
Nice find. I hope that is #1 because it's not #2.... 1988-D DDO-002 (2-0-II-C) is more northwest with the mintmark and the spread is closer. Mine has good seperation on the 988 but nothing on the 1..... CONGRATS.....
