littleton coin co. has a 1970-s small date ms-60 for $108.00 is it worth it???

Too much...it's more of a $25-40 coin in MS-60

To much for ms60. If you really want one I am foing inventory getting ready for a coin show. I think I have one at the bank.

You can get one on eBay for cheaper than that - just examine the pics carefully...

I got the same catalog yesterday and seen that! Littleton is high on all their stuff!

You have to watch littletown. They can't grade at all. I bought a big pile of coins from a estate and 90% of the coins were from Littleton and the grades were not even close. Plus there was a copy of the receipt from the coins and they riped the owners off. I wouldn't buy anything from them.

Nope, not worth it. It is a big retail, rather above retail, coin company. People normally get hitched by one of their ads, get apart of their coins-on-approval program, and then pay high prices for coins evermore. While not inherently wrong, it is indeed best for the collector to advance himself beyond such a simple and costly method of collecting IMHO.
