Aint this cute? Shall I send this in for attribution as a new variety?
All I asked for was one little extra ear lobe.:squigglemouth:

I like that one! Somewhere I have one with Kennedy, Tennessee, and a Masonic Emblem. Yours is the first with a cartoon character that I have seen.

Yup. Thanks. I do enjoy the junk I find. But... It would also be nice to find something really good once in a while. Its been a long time.

Just be glad that it wasn't a doubled ear that was also stamped with the rabbit!
I've gotten quite a few counterstamped cents, will maybe post them at some point.

Is would like to see them if you get some time to do the posts. I think these are interesting because of the intricate details on some of them. Joe

This is one of the IHC's I found a couple months ago.
I thought you might enjoy seeing what a *real* counter stamped cent looks like.

:)That's interesting and it looks like old style number punches were used.

The IHC does seem to have some old style punched numbers.
It makes one wonder exactly where, when, and why it happened. Mysterious.
Thanks to everyone who is posting those counter stamped coins, as it is fun to see what ones are out there. I gather most of them were done for special occasions, but some just seem randomly caused.
