View Full Version : Photo Setup
Does anyone know what NGC or PCGS use for a setup for photographing coins? I really want to take better photos of the entire coin and still have the details show.

I can't blame you for wanting to improve yourself but I'm envious of your photographic skills. I wish were able to come close to what some of you guys can do.
Well that photo above is a terrible photo in my opinion. I took that with a cheap 2mp camera off axis with a single tungsten bulb. I just want something that's easier and for photographing many coins in a row.. :)
I don't your going to get much better without spending a lot of $$$.

There used to be a page on coppercoins that was dedicated to photographing coins, but I can't find it.
