View Full Version : 1968 d ddr 1
I purchased this coin on Ebay as 1968 D DDR 1. I am fairly certain that it is 1968 D DDR 1, but the reverse is worn and contains some additional mechanical doubling. I just wanted to get some second opinions.
The FG look's right. The Mechanical doubling is there on the last 2 pictures. Nice Buy!

I agree with the both of you. One other key marker on the reverse is the bottom bar of the "E" in "AmErica" has a very strong notch at the end on the inside. I think you have a winner Brad.

What is the market like on this coin?
I paid $8 for this one. I thought it was worth a lot more.

Definitely a doubled die and nice at that.

Thanks. Not sure if I'm going to send in to ANACS or not.

I would if it is cost effective for verification in the long run. Nice buy Brad!

Wow. You got a deal. If not just to have it as an example. I would have paid three times that.
