:squigglemouth: I can't seem to find any listing for this 1962-P Doubled Die Obverse. I checked on Copper Coin site, however no luck.

Notice the separation lines and the notching of the date. Any HELP would be welcome.

Could be a minor doubled die. I see what you are talking about.

I believe Bob indicated to me at some point in the past that he has quite a few '62 DDO's but that he hasn't had opportunity to post as yet. He may be able to tell which one this is. By the looks of it '62 has quite a few DDO's to offer.

I do have what I believe to be this coin. I have not however assigned numbers to it, and as Steven noted, this is a date that I haven't got to yet. Between Chuck and I, we have many 1962 doubled dies, and we need to get together so we don't duplicate each other's efforts before posting them on the site. Either way, this is a doubled die, and sooner or later, it will be listed on coppercoins.

Thanks Bob for your response. I was looking through Chuck's reference book "looking through Lincoln Cents" Page 247 shows almost the exact same coin including the spread of the "ST" in Trust. I can't tell on the Liberty due to die deterioration. If it is the same it would be 1962P-1DO-023. I'll wait until you both get together and update that section. Thanks again Bob.

Im starting to think he works at the mint.!! As the boss looks away he throws a couple more strikes here and there and maybe some duct tape and just takes a couple struck on one side or throws a dime in to see what
it looks like as a penny...!!
