Hi guys, thanks to all who helped me with the 1959D MMD, Now i have another question. I found this coin today and being a newby have never seen it and dont have a clue. I think it is a split planchet but not sure. What do you guys think?

The Reverse face has been ground off. It's too flat and too smooth to be a genuine error. Note: No upset rim on the reverse and somewhat on the obverse. Sorry! Joe
