1987-p droped tie ?

Could this be part of the tie. Inside the dent you can see die scatches that are going in a different direction then the field and seem to be the same direction as the tie.

It does look like it maybe a dropped bow tie. I would suggest posting it on CONECA forum where Mike Diamond is more apt to see it. He is the best qualified to determine if it is or is not.
