Hello,

I have 't been on LCR all weekend. This is Monday January 23rd 2011. I logged briefly yesterday only to grab an email from a thread created awhile ago. My log on was probably less than 1 minute.

I click on my User CP to check through posts that I have already replied to, just to keep myself updated and I notice that the posts were started "3 Days ago" This is false. BJ's post about the FUN show was started over a week ago, not 3 days ago.

Here is another thread that was created about a week ago. But it shows on the OP "3 Days ago"
http://www.lincolncentresource.net/forums/showthread.php?t=18686

So this in tune with Chris's craziness does prove that there IS a glitch somewhere in the system.

I'm not trying to trouble shoot, I will that for the professionals, I only want to see if others too are experiencing the timeline glitch.

Thanks,

Lara

AHA! I'm not crazy either! I've always thought those dates seemed a little off. Good work, Ms. Lara, PI.

However, I will say this. If you want the exact time and date, click on "Thread Tools" (at the top of the first post in a thread). Then click "Show Printable Version." It will open a new page with the dates/times on the far right side of the page. In the thread on camera setup you provided, the it says it was posted at 1-19-12 at 7:39PM. The FUN thread from BJ says he first posted at 10:26AM on 1-19-12. This was over three days ago but not quite four days, so it's rounding down to three days. I can't remember as well as you on this one, but if you say you're sure is was longer, then OK.

Sean, here is link to my all my posts I've made. It shows that I made a post 2 days ago, which would have made that Saturday January 21st 2011. This weekend I tried to make it a goal NOT to turn my internet on. I wanted a weekend for Barclay and I. And I succeeded until late yesterday evening.

So I KNOW that this timeline is incorrect. When I quickly logged on yesterday, it showed me a total of 609 posts. This forum does not do 609 in 2 days, generally speaking. The 609 does sound like a more accurate number of posts missed for a 3-4 day period.

Dang it! I am going to take a picture of my screen and upload it to here. I know my screen shows 3 days. I may be a little on the nutsy side sometimes, but I know I took my meds and I'm thinking clearly here!:LOL_Hair:

Roger, she means the FUN show post he made describing how the show went. He also posted another thread 3 weeks ago advertising for the show.

Post about the show, showing "3 days ago"

Sean got me straight lara. I did the thread tools trick he mentioned and it says it was started 1-19-2012 at 10:47 am..but I guess the bigger question is how do you know it was started earlier than that ?

Well, I'm not sure that would be proof enough for somebody to investigate. I know what Sean said abouit rounding is true because of the discussion Chris and I had about his post. Why don't you take a snapshot of this thread and check back a week later to see if it is off more than a day ? Or ask BJ if he remembers what day he started that thread..but if he is like me,I don't keep track or even have a need to remember.

There is no question as to whetherr something is amiss. I hit my 1500th post Tuesday night, 1/17, now my post count is 1475. It's been an entire week and I'm below where I was in posts last Tuesday. To be honest, it's a little demoralizing, but I've got a lot of sorting and packaging to do, so there's no shortage of where my time is needed to be utilized.

Hm. My computer says 4 days instead of 3 days. LOL. I don't really care. If I "lose" some posts, that'll make me look better, since right now I look like SUCH a BLABBERMOUTH. As to so many days ago, I'm glad, as it's demoralizing to see I have unread posts from 3 weeks ago!

Time zone differences... Sounds like the web site is improperly adjusting for the time zones... Or it could be the time warp signature... Where did I put my meds... They were here last week now they're gone... Darn time warp signatures... LOL!!!

This makes no sense. Hopefully Brad or Pat have an answer...

I figured out part of it. It does not count a full day until it reaches the exact time of the post. The post we were looking at showed 3 days until 10:26 am today, then it showed 4 days.

I received a reply from Brad, and he will take the issue up with Pat. Their priority right now is the coppercoins forum stuff, but it will get worked soon.
