Hi,

I know this isn't related to LCR and I also know that there are a few here that are affiliated with CC.

I shot Chuck an email regarding this but I'm also going to run it by you guys.

Is anyone else having difficulty accessing any pages on CC? I keep getting a bunch of mumble-jumble computer jargon. At first it was when I was searching for a die variety, then when I closed my browser and re-opened it, even the Home page was like that.

I'm wondering if I may have caught them in the middle of their site reconstruction?

Thanks,

Lara

I just noticed this as well so you are not alone. Hopefully all is well as loosing Coppercoins would be the end of my world!

He said he was going to be busy the next few weeks so I would be prepared for anything lara...the good thing people will realize how handy the site is when they can't access it on demand....good reminder.

Parts of the server were down for a while today - not exactly sure why, computers just fail when they feel like it. I haven't done anything on the site lately, I have been way too busy at the job.

Thanks Chuck.

If I can shed some more light on what else I experienced, There was one time I was able to access it (in between the times I could not), and this is why I thought that perhaps you may have been updating/servicing the site, because on the page where you can select years, mint marks and types of varieties; these were the options:

Select Year: Drop down box beginning with 1909
Select Year: Drop down box beginning with 1909

Philadelphia: One check box Two check box
Denver: One check box Two check box
San Francisco One check box Two check box

Double Die Obverse
Double Die Reverse
Mint Mark Variety (all three had check boxes like normal)

The rest of the self-check details were normal. That was what made me think you were working on the site.

Dunno?
