Nice example of another 1955 Doubled Die Obverse that you don't see very often.
Fairly strong doubling is evident on the "19" of the date and the "Eye".

This has been one of those varieties that I have had extremely good luck finding over the years. I have found over a dozen! It is amazing how that works. I have been searching for some varieties for years and years with no luck, and others keep showing up. I have had the same sort of luck with the 1939P-1DO-001 where I have found 16 of them, yet Chuck Daughtrey from coppercoins has yet to find one. Makes for great trading material though. Yours is a great looking coin Joe!

I pulled this from an OBW roll about 18 months ago. I was definitely happy with it being a MS-65 Red. Sounds as if you have had good luck on the 39's. Thanks Bob

nice coin joe, can we get a pic of the whole coin, i would like to know what it takes to be an MS65.
