:tinysmile_hmm_t: Found this in a roll a few minutes ago.

This is a 2000 Lincoln cent which was struck while a String-like Material was resting on the blank. The incuse is very prominent.

After the strike the String-like Material either fell away or adhered to the Obverse die and created one or more similar struck Lincoln's after this one.

So watch for variations of this strike while searching. It's only been about 7 years give or take! :LOL_Hair:

I guess Joe is trying to make me post pics of the strikethroughs I have:tinysmile_hmm_t:. I actually have quite a few coins with strikethroughs of thread fibers. It is amazing how even a single thread can leave an imprint. I will post a few pics once I get back home.
