I am wanting to get some unsearched fed rolls and I don't know a reputable place. I see them on ebay, they say unsearched but who can you trust? Some auctions say unsearched by me, so someone else maybe has searched them. Can any one help?

Unless you're looking for BU rolls of particular dates, I would just go to your bank and ask them to order you a box or two. The likelihood that they will have been searched is very, very small.

That would be a toughie to answer. You might find some at a coin show but you need to watch the wrappers.

Even REAL fed rolls look like they were crimped again to its real hard to kmow if they are search or not. Most likey they were. Any certain dates?. Ill sell you an "Unsearched" roll of BU UNC..lol..really. I have not 10 rolls of 70-s BU UNC that I got sick of searching thru the same date and just sat aside!..lol..

I can relate to getting tired of searching the same dates.

Well, I'd like to get some dates that are known for DDO/DDRs and RPMs, like 1955 S's and 1956 D's and 1960 D's and 1972's...you know standard stuff.

:tinysmile_eyebrow_tYou better go to the "wishing well" or get some deep pockets. I saw a bag of 1972-P (Sealed from the mint) for $1,995.00 the other day.

Still waiting on my Social Security Check or I would have snatched it up.:LOL_Hair:

Nice Bag!!!

Actually it's 2 bag's. The first one I am about half way thru it. The second still has the Lead Seal around the top. The picture doesn't show it. There is a ebay auction selling one but it's not mine it's price is 749.95. I will get back to searching them one day.

Here is a bag of 1958 P Cent's. I know it's a long shot to find the DDO but I wish my pocket's were deep.

That would be nice. But a little too rich for my blood. But that 1960 D bag looks a little better... but still too much for me.

:(Yeah and the only two ever found came out of the same bag of coins to the same individual and no others that I know of have been found or authenticated. :squigglemouth:

Two rolls I got from US Bank today contained about 20 almost uncirculated, beautiful 74D cents, but that's a pretty boring year...

Your pretty correct on 74 being a dull year. There 6 MM varieties, 1 DDO, and 1 DDR. Keep searching you will find something as good again as your 96.
