San Fran Mintmark Styles

According to Variety Vista there were two different mintmark styles used in 1952. Is this true?

To be perfectly honest Brad, I had never known that there might be 2 styles. I also do not know why he has the mintmark listed as 'Tall Mintmark'.

I cannot find anything in my reference books that there are 2 styles. Maybe he has a misprint. I would send him a e-mail and ask for clairification. He's pretty good about answering.
