Hi everyone. I've used and recommended the site for some time now, but this is my first post.
I have a 1957 D rpm that was found while searching bank rolls. It looks like the mint mark is tripled or even more. Is anyone familiar with this one? I've searched a couple sites and can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Hi and Welcome Mike,
From what I can see I'm thinking it's RPM #28 due to the split serifs and the die scratches West and South of the MM and it looks like there could be a little bit of a scratch above the 1. If true then yours would be a later die state. I would wait until others voice their opinion.

Welcome Mike.
Nice picture!
Sorry I can't seem to place that RPM right now. Will keep looking though.

Hi. Thanks for the replies and compliments. I think fugnchill is correct #28. The die scratch below the E in WE is present. It just looked so much different than the photo on coppercoins. Looking through my microscope I could swear there is more than 1 underlying D. If I ever figure out how to attach my camera to my microscope, I'll post the picture.
