I am by no means an authority on errors. But this coin on eBay just looks wrong. The seller claims it is a 1962-D with 6 flip-over strikes. I think it looks like it was melted and has PMD. But hey, I may be wrong and this is something I have never seen and someone could provide an explanation...

It shows signs of a squeeze job, nicely rolled up with a "pipe Job" possibly on an original double struck cent. (My Opinion only).

Check the bidders, times & dates.

What do mean? EBay blocks out the bidders...

I already did, but with only 24 hours left I doubt anyone will see the report before it hammers...

Cant believe ANYONE would fall for this coin!!

Looks like someone smacked some coins together with a hammer a few times.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I forgot that I made it by mistake. It was also an 'error' in workmanship as I should have done a much nicer job. Aother 'error' was using the wrong tools....my mistake!

Now that's a good "Terminology" for that type of error. I Like that BJ.

Well, well, well ... the "garage garbage" appears to have returned as a "Superb counterfeit 1962-D Flip-Over Error Cent - NEAT!" I'm speculating that eBay canceled the previous "6 flip over strikes" post-sale and opted to re-list. Too bad the seller didn't include the term garage garbage in their new auction ...
