While sorting cents on 1/7/09 I found my first 1972 P die #1. While searching cents today I found my second! I've attached photos of the first coin. I haven't taken any shots of the second coin yet.

I do my sorting in batches of 100,000 cents. Last night I ran out of coins to sort. This is after sorting 70,000 since 1/1/09. Today I decided to search some 72's while I was waiting to get more coins to sort. I get my coins from a supermarket coin machine.

Starting out to be a great year!

Hi Hellgee,

I ran into the same problem of wanting to post a picture of a coin that I had posted in a different thread but the system wouldn't let me so to remedy this, just rename your picture where ever you have it saved on your computer. You said computer skills are sub par so just in case needed: open location of your picture (my pictures), move cursor over picture wanted and RIGHT click mouse. There will be a pop-up window and about second to last option is rename!

By the way, Congrats on your find of the 72' DDO's. I'm still looking for my first.

Sometimes renaming does not help. You may need to open the file in an editing program, then rename it using SAVE AS. You could also give us a link to the previous post.

The forum software is trying to be 'smart' about saving a minimum number of images in its (presumably) limited amount of space. What I haven't tried to figure out is if there is a way to reference images already uploaded, other than by their post.

At any rate:

Just copy and paste the URL. Or you can just type it in.

Hi Brad: Is there an easy way to find an old link? Can you search by poster, by title, by approx date etc.?

I posted a link to one of my old posts recently. It took me hours to find it so I could post it.

Thats a great find, I've been looking for my first for going on 10 years and I finally broke down and bought one off of ebay. Wish I could be that lucky.
