As I sometimes go through my penny jar when I get a spark of energy to look at dates. I came across this 1952 D wheat, and saw that the mm was very close to date, is this the norm for this date. I haven't come across another one of same date. What do you think?
Thanks for you viewing of post and your attention.

Al,
I believe that anywhere in the field between the date, vest and rim would be considered a normal placement of the MM even though it does seem a bit high. But let's see what others have to say here.

Welcome and stay awhile Al, and keep posting.
I think those snuggy mint marks are nice, and I keep them with my other oddity cents.
