Came across this one tonight and, while I haven't been able to get real good images, it seems to be a class II DDR, especially for the serif of the bottom letters R and A in "AMERICA" and on the initials (FG) as well as "BUS" in PLURIBUS. There are none listed for CONECA or coppercoins. Thoughts?

I would say that is DEFINATELY a DDR. If CONECA doesnt have anything then this one should be a nice Discovery Coin.

All I can say is SHAM....WOW!!!!

Similar to Billy's CDDR-001 but not that one.

This is why I can't wait to get his latest guide, it'll be great to have that many more varieties to compare to and look for.

I would say it has some nice separation and notching on the reverse lettering. None of my references has a listing for a DDR. Nice find AG.

Oh joy! It looks like one! Especially the B, U and M in the E Pluribus Unum.

I have been saving every 1988 since the discovery of the RDV-006. I have a BUNCH of them to go through!

Congrats and nice find, I may be joining you soon!

Thanks everyone for the replies. Now I have to decide if I want to send it to anyone for verification.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to have it verified and listed somewhere AgCollector. I would be more than happy to have a look at it for you if you wish.

I've done nothing since then, but I did glance through Billy's new Detailed Analysis... and I'm pretty sure he has it in there.

From the images it looks like it could be but I'm not 100% sure. It would require examination.

Congrats on your find!
