View Full Version : [Example] 199x Triple Struck and Cupped Up

This is a 199_ Lincoln Cent which has been Triple Struck, with the First Strike Normal, the 2nd strike is 35% Off-Center, and then with another strike 95% Off-Center of the First Strike.

The Coin also is Cupped-Up from the force of and position of the strikes. Very Dramatic looking, and scarce. It has been Graded MS-64 Red.

I believe that the PCGS Tag reads incorrectly as there are no remnants of the last digit of the date to ascertain what year it is.

Once again Joe...Wow!

It looks like there is a remnant of a last digit which would be a 9 or 8. It could just be my eyes also. Keep em' coming, I love seeing your collection.

Nice Cent. How do you catalog each and every error that you find.

If found or purchased they are
1. Photographed full and close up of obv/rev.
2. Stored by Grading company, Year (if possiable), denomination, Grade, Encapsulation number, Extensive discription in 20 count Storage boxes with slots 1 thru 20.
3. Referenced on sticker on the coin and hard copy inventory ie: NGC-Box A-1 (Box A and slot #1 in the box.)
4. Storage in Picasa 3 albums for photos and discriptions.
