View Full Version : 1995-D 1c DDO
Was lucky and came across this DDO the other day while searching circulated rolls. It's assigned in my files as 1995-D 1c CDDO-008 and is cross-referenced in John Wexler's "W" files as WDDO-002. It is illustrated in my A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties 1959 - Present on page 422 but wanted to share with you these updated photos I took of the coin.
Exhibits some separation lines on the digits "95" of the date. More prominent separation lines can be seen on the "D" mint mark from a Class V pivoted hub doubling shift. It has been my experience that most of the 1995-D DDOs are not easy to locate.
Good luck in your searching endeavors.

Very nice!
I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for this one - or any other '95Ds - I don't have a single 1995D DDO in my collection :(
As always thanks for sharing!

Nice updated example.
Nice find and thanks for the update. The 95 D DDOs are hard to locate. This is the only one that I've found so far:

Good find Billy. Hope your starting to get your collection goin back up again since the incident...
Thanks all. I guess lightning strikes twice!
While going through the same $25 circulated box I came across this '95-D assigned in my files as 1995-D 1c CDDO-007. It is illustrated on page 421 of my DALCV 1959 - Present.
It is cross-referenced in CONECA registry as DDO-001/1-O-V and in John Wexler's "W" files as WDDO-001. Exhibits some notching and light separation lines on the date. Additional separation lines with notching on the upper serif of the "D" mint mark is visible.
I had noticed a lot of "D" mint coins coming out of these rolls so I must have gotten some recently dumped coins that might have been located mid west.

Very nice Billy! Sort of a twofer.
I am sure glad you did not say the rolls were from the far west. Otherwise I would have to rethink my entire strategy about collecting Lincolns... :) Guess I better be more diligent about my searching.
