Looks like a Type I 1974.

I see some doubling on the tail of the 9...is that what you are seeing? I would be great to find a Type I over Type 2 or vice-versa.

coppercoins does list one 1974 P DDO though. You may want to check the markers for this one I can't be sure that it isn't a DDO. Does look a bit extra thick.

Nice pic. I checked the markers for MDS. No match. But they only have examples of MDS.
