Hi:
The 1964 is 190-195 degees rotated and the 1966 is 330 degrees rotated. The 94 was found a few months ago and the 66 was found today - both from bank rolls.
Thx

Hey RB & JCUVE! Haven't we been through this several times about clckwise(CW) and counterclockwise(CCW) ?
The 1994-P is the infamous 165* CCW of which I believe there are only about 200+ of.
The 1966 is only rotated 15* to 20* CW which is almost allowable by the mint. NICE FINDS

Under 15 degrees is normal. The 1994 is a very nice find but the 66 is normal

There is a lot of disagreement between folks for determining proper rotation. I was always told that you check it base on a 360 degree circle. Otheres have told me the numbers are determined CW up to 180 degrees, and then CCW up to 180 degrees. I will try to get some confirmation in this.

I prefer the "up to 180, CW or CCW" convention because for a beginner, it seems like 350 degree rotation should be twice as rotated as a 175 degree rotation (and thus twice as spectacular / valuable) yet we know that 350 (aka 10 degrees) is not really anything to get excited about whereas 175 would be.
Also, considering that the dies are meant to match up at 0 degrees and can then rotate in either direction, it seems more appropriate to talk about a rotation in either direction.

After a lot of research, I found examples where both were used. However, the consensus is to use 0-180 degrees CW and CCW for determining rotation. I agree this is the best way to go.
