One of the coins I am looking for is the 1951 D/D rpm 1.

I found this coin on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280195420249&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018

It doesn't say which rpm it is and I emailed the seller and he doesn't know either. Should I gamble on this one?

If you don't, I will.

Maybe the seller could get a close up photo and show what it looks like. Some will take them if asked.

I blew up the photo and the MM location looks close to the RPM#1 but that's just a blurry guess through the distortion.

Would be nice if the sellers of die varieties would actually show the die variety in the auction page rather than to expect someone to buy for what a slab has printed on it.

Just another opinion.:squigglemouth:

ANACS did a lot of these type D/D S/S ... Looks OK at $13 to $15.\

Have you bought a lot of coins from the Cheap Slab Store? I have ordered two, and I've been happy with both. They have a lot of ANACS slabbed cents.

I like ANACS certified S/S D/D in MS65 or better. I can usually id the variety myself if not ... it could be sent in to Bordner..

I stay away from ANACS S/S and D/D from the 40's and 50's in AU and below. There are a couple tough RPMs in the 40's which if they were in an ANACS slab I might go 'em.
