Clipped or snipped?

I have been pondering the idea that this is a clipped planchet as opposed to a snipped coin. The coin weighs in at 3.00 grams instead of the 3.11 grams that it should be. Let me know if you believe it to be clipped.

Nice rim clip. A little bit for wear on the Obverse side but still nice.

Nice little clip there Jean. I'm not an expert on errors (or anything else for that matter) but it look like it came out of the mint that way.
