Struck thru or scratched?

I just pulled this out of a Fed roll. I'm not up to par on errors so is this just a scratch or is it struck through?:sad: Please help.

It is struck thru. It looks like a piece of wire and the wire looks as though it is embedded into the coin. Is the anomoly above the surface of the coin or is it embedded into the coin surface and the cavity shows where the piece of wire was? Pictures can decieve you when you look at them.

Sweeeeeeet. My first struck through wire.:D

It is embedded in the coin surface and shows the cavity.

Jeremy: That is a nice error coin and with a large piece of wire in length. What makes it different is that there proably won't be too many struck thru wire as nice as this one. Excellent find.

That is an EXCELLENT Error. Did you say the wire is still in the coin and visible?
I bid on an auction with Heritage a few years ago for a Lincoln Cent 1940 something with a staple struck into the coin and still showing. It went over $500
