Nice one. I wonder how far the crack made it before that die was retired?

This was a nice surprise.
Look at Billy's supplemental #4. (I am at work). I think that is his CDDR-014 (a) or (b).

Nah, this one is just a die crack.:tinysmile_cry_t:
The one that has CDDR-014 the die crack extends through the letter "E" of STATES. This one is through the "T." Another nice die crack example.
Just about every FY I have looked at exhibits die cracks in varying areas and strengths. The Mint is having whole lot of problems with these working dies.
At the rate some I have seen, looked like the die was ready to shatter and the coins were only an EMDS or so. Full production run on these are low mileage.

Looks like there was some debris floating around in this one. I've found 3 different strike throughs. The die crack is present on all of these but it's very small at this point. The 1st pic is before the strike throughs started. I've found 2 of each of the coins in the last 2 pics.

Yeah, Proably ROCK SALT!!!!!!!!!!! on the strike thrus.:LOL_Hair:
Thanks Jean.
Joe that rock salt probably fell out when you were sneaking in the back door of the Mint.:D
I put one on EBAY to see if it would sell:

Here's another struck thru. Looks like a miniature deer was loose in the mint.
I've found 15 or so strike throughs on this one die. The last 3 have been on the obverse. This one looks like the head of screw.
