What do you think about a extra T in trust.

The extra "T" looks incused which would mean that it is a dropped letter. It is a very neat error coin.

here is a close up. I used some mild soap to clean the area a little.

The close-up pic shows that this coin suffers from post mint damage, not a dropped letter. It does look interesting, but i'm afraid it nothing more that a post mint gouge.

Real cool error. A dropped T.
Thanks

I agree that it might be post mint damage, but what are the odds of it turning out looking like the T.I still think there is a chance of it being a dropped letter by the way the shape is.Yes something hit the coin but I kind off think it was a falling T.

While I'd admit the proximity to the T in TRUST and T shape itself would not appear coincidental - the character of the edges and interior make it seem very much like pushed metal (i.e., the coin was gouged after it was minted).

I'm afraid there is no doubt this is nothing more than post mint damage. It is not incused into the design like a dropped letter would be, but rather gouged into it. What are the chances of it looking like a 'T'? It looks more like an upside down L to me. In addition, the size is wrong for it to be a dropped letter as well. Sometimes folks, we need to look at the obvious, and shy away from the wishful thinking. Sorry it's not what you expected, but I am 100% positive on this one.

Bob is 100% correct on his assessment of this anomaly. PDM when it is viewed at higher magnification.
