Don't you hate when you found a 1938 cent in really good condition with a strong strike and it's an RPM.. But then you have the green glob of death on the obverse...:(

i feel your pain !!!!!
that is too bad of the corrosion but its nice to find a RPM (FS-016.51)
i found a 1938 once a few years ago riding my bike an thought it was a newer red penny- then by looking at it discovered it was a 1938 but turning it over to i could see all the pavment marks from car running it over and kicking it off to the side for me to find - ugh !!! so i guess i probably put in the dead end jar
Well that RPM #52 for tonight.. lol.. I've been on an RPM hot streak.. I just finished photographing my previous 35 as well and started populating TheCent.net with them..
Big shame. A couple weeks ago I found Flying Eagle cent in a roll of lincolns. You could just barely make out the eagle. fget about the date. w/my luck its probaly 1856. The wreath wasn't quite as bad on the back side.
