1979 and 2003 planchet/ broadstrike

Hey everyone, I just came across these 2 planchett or broadstrikes. Any feedback would be helpful

I am not sure if these are broadstrikes. Coin #1 looks like it is just heavily worn. Coin #2 looks even more heavily worn - the outside of the design does appear to extend beyond the norm but I wonder if the rim wasn't just pushed down from heavy wear...

That is unusual wear on both of these coins. Like maybe they have thin rims.
Or had thin rims.

The closeup of the pics make it seem worn but these pennys are very clean and have smooth surfaces

Both coins look just tired. the second could have been in a washing machine for a while.
