OK folks, if the pics turn out OK can some of you photoshop wizards help me find out what this is?

I have a 194- s...looks like the die broke as there are no abnormal scratches, etc on the last number...all I can see is a curve that looks like the edge of either a 5, 6 8 or 3

spacing etc and the dip below the 4 are what have me hopeful...but of course I doubt it...

thoughts?

It is more than likely a grease filled die. This was / is a common error, especially in the wheat cents.

Your picture pixelates to much to do any real detective work, however, the mint mark appears to be the sans serif which was used in 1946 and 1947 on the Lincoln cent. Given that the 46 digit on the Lincoln cent was weakly engraved, my odds on bet is that you have a 1946 - S Lincoln cent.

There's no question that its a 1946. Click on the 1st picture and stand back from your computer. I see it very clearly.
