I always get confused when I see this error written as a "double die clash" – yes it is technically correct, but it initially looks like we are talking about, well, a doubled die, just misspelled. Maybe writing "double die-clash" with a dash would help reduce confusion by placing emphasis on the error itself, die-clash?

Good idea, because it was confusing to me too. I initially was looking for a doubled die that was on a coin that had a die clash. But I get it now.

Kinda think that's a little nit picky...isn't it. Technically, the term double die clash is correct. Rather than having someone change the terminology, or add hypens etc... to satisfy one or two folks, maybe we should just read it as it was written. and look at
the pic provided? :-)

The clash is a very nice and strong one George. Very nice find.
