2009 F Year doubled on E Pluribus

2009 Lincoln formitave years possible doubling on E Pluribus, Any feedback with my not so great scans would be helpful.

I'm sorry Schaf, but I can't really tell anything with the pics you provided. If you could try to take a pic thru your loupe so the details are more larger and clearer it might help. Perhaps someone else coming along can see it better than me.

I have noticed a lot of examples where the strike has caused some shifting of the letters in this area of the die. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like that may be what you have.

That's encouraging, I got the 92 and this 2009 about 5 minutes apart. Gives me some hope.

I would say that it is MD. The flat shelf appearance (by your photos) indicates MD. Let's see what others have to say.

I agree with Joe - the new picture appears to be classic MDD
