Just found these in rolls a couple of weeks ago and thought i would show one of them. this coin has a nice die crack in America and a die break in the crack of the log and i found 16 of them in three rolls. have not seen these anywhere else yet.

Nice find and the mint has problems with quality control.

Lots of die cracks for this series...some are more spectacular than others. Also, a little terminology refresher for you if you don't mind. A cud is the result of a rim to rim die crack and subsequent loss of that piece of the die. What you refer to as a cud is actually a die chip or break.

Your experience in coins and you show how much that you know to all on here, so that makes you dad on this site when it comes to coins, remember when you asked your father a question and he seemed to always have an answer and it was always right, well there you go. It is Gd to know that there is a person that helps others out when they have a question and you seem to be there the most and i thank you for that.

You're makin' me blush....son!
Seriously though...Thanks you for the kind words. On this forum though the expertise is significantly more than a one man show. I beleive we have just about every noted 'expert' in the field as at least as a part time participant. I really feel that if you can't get your question answered in the LCR...your not talking about coins. Thaks again George.
