I haven't found any really wild off center coins yet but I sure would like to. This one doesn't fit in the plastic tube quite right so I thought I'd post it.

It is either just off-center or one or both dies were misaligned. One of the error experts will have to confirm...

If it were out of the holder I could tell better. Double misaligned dies are rare and the only one I have ever seen were pictures of one Bob P. posted here on the Forum.

I would say it is off center but cannot completely confirm due to the plastic distorting the coins rims.

It does appear to be struck off center and since it does not appear to be a broad strike, there may have been a problem with the collar.

Nice find.

Thanks for the great pictures and I would say it is a partial tilted collar strike, or collar strike.

Excellent example.

I showed these pictures to Mike Diamond, who for some reason cannot access this site? This is what he said

"It's an uncentered broadstrike. Reverse die as hammer die and struck against a stiff collar."

SUPER nice find minidisc!
Now, how you gonna fit Mike Diamond's description on a 2x2 flip?

Label it as "Stiff collar/uncentered Broadstrike"
