You are absolutely correct. This is a strike through. Exactly what was struck through is unknown, bit I am thinking a heavy blob of grease.

cool. good to know. i'm sorting my possible errors that i had stuck in tubes and i have a few more of these types of coins.

Hi mini,
The more I look at your pictures the more I think, if it is at all possible, the last four might be a progression of the same error. Then again, I do not know how that would be possible if it is a blob of grease. Just something to think about.
